Sundas Foundation is a non-profit organization that works for Thalassemia, Hemophilia, and blood cancer patients without any charges or fees on the part of patients. Sundas Foundation was established in 1998 as a Blood Transfusion Center. Before this institution, many people started unequipped and unauthorized blood banks on a commercial basis. Such blood banks provided unscreened and contaminated blood unfit for the very purpose of transfusion. After the establishment of the Sundas Foundation, all such quacks have vanished: that is a major service, we have rendered to the community. The Sunads Foundation Gujranwala Center was started in 1999 as a blood bank. Later on, it turned into a blood transfusion center in 2005. It has evolved and works as a Thalassemia, Hemophilia, blood bank, and blood transfusion center. Today, it is one of the biggest NGOs in Punjab providing healthy blood to Thalassemia and hemophilia patients and the Government and Non- Government hospitals through its blood bank center.
